U.S. gasoline prices continue to gently fall, note for diesel consumers

GasBuddy Blog -- High gasoline prices have clearly taken their toll on American and Canadian motorists in the last few months. How fitting that I finally can deliver two weeks of good news, especially in the month of April (yes, I'm squeezing this post in today so I can make use of that), when gasoline prices have historically continued to climb! However, climbing gasoline prices are not today's story, but rather falling prices- and they continue in North American markets.

The national average took another nice drop in the last seven days, falling 4 cents per gallon in the U.S. and 3c/L for our Canadian friends. I even managed to see a price of $3.28 in Tulsa, Oklahoma this morning at two Sam's Club locations there- a pretty reasonable price given...

Gas prices should be about $1.00/gal less in this country.

It's nice that they are gently falling. .The prices at the pump are still to high, and people in the gas business are the only ones making the money aside from all the gas prices ,is all the taxes they charge per gallon. It's amazing that anyone take home a pay check because of the taxes, & the gas industry is the same.

Gas is still an outrage here in LaLa land. The best price I've seen in my travels is $3.999. Think about it - it's still four bucks no matter how you slice it.

Where is all that diesel that was NOT used to plow snow last winter? Co workers who live up north can't stop talking about how mild and snow free the winter was. Would think the diesel savings was a large number.

They're "gently falling" here, but they need to completely crumble to get below $2/gallon where they should be.

Gas prices will fall until election time. 4 cents is nothing. How about 40 cents or 1.40?
