CNBC to Highlight Edmond CNG Company

edmondsun.com -- EDMOND — A national television program will broadcast live Monday from the Edmond headquarters of CNG Interstate, highlighting how the company converts gasoline vehicles to run on natural gas.

Craig Wright, CNG Interstate president, said CNBC’s Rick Santelli will highlight the company’s CNG fuel system on Monday’s “Squawk on the Street” program. Santelli often reports from the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade.

“Squawk on the Street” airs at 8 a.m. weekdays on CNBC.

Wright said the program will follow the company’s technicians through each phase of the vehicle conversion process. The program also will showcase Oklahoma’s growing CNG refueling infrastructure, including an innovative in-home fueling system.

Infrastructure. Read about a guy taking a CNG 1990s Impala retired taxi on the HOT ROD power tour 10 years ago. Had to hunt for refuling locations.

Oklahoma, another state that is committed to using CNG for transportation. Hope that they can look into ways to make CNG car conversions more affordable.
